GOVE COUNTY —Two people were injured in an accident just after 2:30p.m. Sunday in Gove County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2011 Ford Expedition driven by Tod A Huddleston, 62, St. Charles, Missouri, was eastbound on Interstate 70 approximately five miles east of Quinter.
The driver lost control of the SUV when the right rear tire came off the vehicle. The SUV spun towards the south shoulder, overturned and to a rest in the south ditch on its roof.
EMS transported Huddleston and a passenger Janet Lynn Huddleston, 64, St. Charles, Missouri, to Gove County Medical Center. They were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
