JOPLIN, Mo. - Fort Hays State's Grant Bradley earned All-Region honors after finishing in 21st-place at the 2022 NCAA Division II Central Region Championships Saturday morning, helping the Tigers to a 13th-place finish in the team standings.
Bradley completed the 10-kilometer course in 30:13.0 to finish inside the top 25 and earn All-Region distinction after shaving more than a full minute off his 10k time from last year's regional meet. Ethan Fisher finished 56th with a time of 30:54.3, while Jaret Pfizenmaier crossed the line in 31:07.1 to place 64th. Cori DeBoest turned in a time of 31:15.3 to come in 75th place before Javyn Contreras rounded out the scoring in 98th place with a time of 31:48.3.
Bradley is the 14th competitor on the men's team to earn All-Region status during head coach Dr. Jason McCullough's tenure at FHSU. It is the third-consecutive regional where a Tiger earned All-Region honors.
Gidieon Kimutai was the first of four Missouri Southern runners to finish in the top 15, taking the individual crown with a time of 29:09.4. The Lions captured the team title with 70 points, just two in front of Nebraska-Kearney.
