Jordan Alexander Keil, 40, of Hays, died Monday, July 21, 2025 while traveling in Zanesville, Ohio.

He was born February 23, 1985, the son of Larry and Sandy (Pfannenstiel) Keil.  Jordan was a very caring and active child and decided at an early age that he was not interested in sports, but was very interested in repairing, fixing, and building things.  He learned much about electronics from his dad and Grandpa Keil, which helped him in his repair work.  In 2003, he graduated from Thomas More Prep High School.  Jordan went to school in Oklahoma City where he earned an Associate Degree in car audio.  With a friend, he opened a scooter and cell phone store, and they later opened Western Stone Company, creating lovely exteriors on homes with faux stone.  He eventually went out on his own, fixing anything anyone asked of him.  For many years, he did contract work, building fences, porches, bathrooms, and cabinets.  Jordan married Shauna Haynes in 2015.  They divorced in 2024.

Survivors include his parents, Larry and Sandy Keil and his brother Garrett Keil.  He will be sorely missed by his aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dell and Mary Ann Keil and C.A. and Philomena Pfannenstiel.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 am on Thursday, August 14, 2025 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church with Fr. Nick Parker officiating.  Private family inurnment will be at a later date in Our Lady Help of Christians Cemetery, Antonino.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 7:00 on Wednesday at Hays Memorial Chapel Funeral Home and from 10:00 am until service time on Thursday at the church.  A vigil service and rosary will be at 6:00 pm on Wednesday at the funeral home.  Memorials are suggested to Antonino Cemetery Association or for masses.  Condolences and memories of Jordan may be left for his family at www.haysmemorial.com
