KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Fort Hays State Men's Soccer moved up one spot in the latest United Soccer Coaches Top 25 Poll, released on Tuesday. The Tigers are ranked No. 22 in the latest poll after a 1-0-1 start to the 2025 season.
The No. 22 Tigers will face No. 3 ranked CSU Pueblo in Hays this Thursday night (Sept. 11) at 6 p.m. The Thunderwolves were a national semifinalist last year and a national finalist the two years prior to that. FHSU won the last meeting with CSU Pueblo, a 2-1 decision in Hays back in 2022, which was the first of the two years the Thunderwolves eventually played in the national title match.
Following their first home contest of the season on Thursday, the Tigers head to Columbia, Mo. on Sunday for a neutral site match with Thomas More (Ky.).
Fort Hays State is one of two GAC members among the top 25 of the poll, joining Rogers State. The Hillcats are also 1-0-1 on the season and share the No. 11 ranking with Felician University. Newman is among the receiving votes list.
