Mary Venters, 85, died on Sunday, July 5, 2020 at Wichita County Health
Center in Leoti. She was born on January 20, 1935 at Alamota the
daughter of Ralph Franklin & Mary Maude (McGreevy) Heath. She
married Eugene Venters on May 16, 1953 at Dighton.
Mary attended Alamota Grade School and graduated from Dighton High
School in 1953. She worked as a Secretary at Lane County Feeders from
1976 to 1996. She was a member of St Theresa Catholic Church of Dighton
and TOPS. She loved being a mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her Children- Theresa (Rick) Anderson of Prescott
Valley, Arizona, Bob (Bonnie) Venters of Dighton, Joann (Bill) Penka of
Dighton, Galen (Deena) Venters of Lamonte, Missouri, Linda France of
Leoti, Tim Venters of Dighton & Kathy (Chris) Burlew of Salina,
Brother- John Heath of Dighton, Sister- Virginia Jasper of Dighton, 23
Grandchildren and numerous Great-Grandchilden. She was preceded in
death by her Parents, Son- Bill Venters and 4 Brothers- Raymond Heath,
Francis Heath, Tommy Heath & Clarence Heath.
There will be a Memorial Mass announced at a later date. Burial will be
in Dighton Memorial Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to St Theresa
Catholic Church in care of Boomhower Funeral Home of Dighton.
