Charles Woodrow Campbell, age 76, of Goodland passed away December 17, 2020, at his home in Goodland. He was born April 24, 1944 in Colorado Springs, Colorado to Volney and Margaret (Pugh) Campbell. He grew up and went to school in Eads, Colorado and Burlington, Colorado he graduated from Burlington High School in 1962. He married Patricia Ruddell on August 3, 1962 in Burlington. To this union they had five children, Paula, Tim, Paul, Sherri, and Kim. Charley worked in construction and as a UPS Supervisor until he retired in 1996. During their retirement they moved to Arizona and then returned to Goodland in 2016 to be close to family.
Charley was a member of the Nazarene Church and the EMT Methodist Church in Arizona. He was a workaholic always finding something to work on. He enjoyed playing cards, fishing, hiking in the mountains, and he dearly loved spending time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Volney and Margaret; grandparents; two brothers, Harold and Doug; two children, Paula and Paul.
Charley was survived by his loving wife, Patricia; children, Tim (Melody) Campbell of WI; Sherri (Syd) Keith of Goodland, KS; Kim (Jason) Artzer of Goodland, KS; grandchildren- Wendy (Kevin) Oller of Hutchinson, KS, Kenton (Abby) Keith of Goodland, Samantha (Remington) Box of IA, Mindi (Chris) Lacy of Cimarron, KS, Kaleb (Brianna) Keith of Goodland, Bryan Campbell of WI, Koal (Sarah) Artzer of Shawnee, KS & Jade Artzer of Goodland; great grandchildren- Olivia (Olive) & Cooper (Coopy) Oller, Conner & Audra (Audrey George) Keith, Brea (Breto), Rael (RaeRae), & Ruger (Rugy Bear) Lacy, Emma (Emma Bean), Charlotte (Charlie), Kinsley Jo (Kinsey) Keith, Aevia & Xander Box; brother, Jan Richard (Cindy) Campbell of Powder Springs, GA; several nephews and cousins, Chula (Martin) Bryant of Kemah, TX, Dan Pugh of Houston, TX.
