TOPEKA&nbsp;– Governor Laura Kelly announced appointments to the following state councils and committees.

Firefighters Memorial Advisory Committee

The purpose of this committee is to advise on matters concerning the memorial to Kansas firefighters on the state capitol grounds and to make recommendations regarding appropriate activities memorializing or commemorating the services of firefighters in Kansas.

The purpose of the Council is to monitor the delivery of 911 services, develop strategies for future enhancements to the 911 system, and distribute available grant funds to Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs).
