Women Who Lead, formerly known as Wonder Women League, will launch their new name and their independence from the United Ways of Ellis County during a Hays Chamber Chat at 9 a.m. Friday.

The event will be at the United Way office at 12oo Chestnut St. in Hays.

Women Who Lead was founded as an all-women service organization in Ellis County under the umbrella of the United Way.&nbsp;

Women Who Lead is now becoming its own non-profit.
