CHEYENNE COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 2p.m. Wednesday in Cheyenne County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a Ford F150 driven by Cooper Andrew Paugh, 19, Bird City, was westbound on U.S. 36 just west of County Road 34. The pickup veered to the right side of the roadway, entered back onto the roadway, crossed the centerline, veered off onto the left side of the roadway and entered the South ditch. The pickup rolled completely time. The driver told first responders he was partially ejected and climbed out the window.
EMS transported Paugh to the Cheyenne County Hospital. He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
