The Ellis County Health Department on Friday reported the average number of new coronavirus cases per day in the last seven days remained flat at nine.
The department also reported two additional coronavirus-related deaths, bringing the total to 46.

There were 13 new cases of COVID-19 identified in Ellis County since Wednesday. There are currently 108 active cases, including five active hospitalizations of Ellis County residents, and 3,206 recovered cases.
As of Friday, there were 19 COVID-19 inpatients at HaysMed, down from 22 on Thursday, with 17 of those cases active and two in the recovery phase.
The seven-day average of percent of positive tests fell from 11.6 percent on Wednesday to 10 percent on Friday.
Since reporting began, there have been 3,360 cases of COVID-19 identified in Ellis County, including 46 coronavirus-related deaths.
