Fort Hays State plays its final home game of the 2022 season on Saturday (Nov. 5) hosting Northeastern State. The Tigers enter the contest at 2-7, while the RiverHawks are 1-8. Senior recognition will start approximately 25 minutes prior to game time.

The Tigers are looking for an eighth-straight win over the RiverHawks. FHSU has won seven straight going back to the 2014 season. All seven of those wins have been since NSU joined the MIAA. NSU won the first two meetings between the schools back in 1989 and 1990 before FHSU moved into NCAA Division II.

Fort Hays State has won the last three games against Northeastern State by a combined score of 213-13. The Tigers scored at least 58 points in all three of those contests. In all seven meetings since 2014, Fort Hays State has held NSU to 13 points or less.

Manny Ramsey enters this game ranked second in the MIAA in receiving yards (657) and receiving yards per game (73.0). He ranks second in program history for receptions (171) and 100-yard receiving games (9). He is third in receiving yards (2,531) and receiving touchdowns (22).

The Tigers have been in a rhythm of going with a two-quarterback system over the past four games. Jack Dawson has received most of the snaps and continues to lead the team in passing with 1,438 yards. He has a 60.4 percent completion percentage and has also rushed for 163 yards this season. Ethan Forrester is completing 77.1 percent of his passes and has ran for 103 yards. Adrian Soto is the team's rushing leader at 570 yards and ranks fourth in the MIAA in rushing yards.

Makel Williams leads the Tiger defense with 70 tackles. Eight different players have recorded interceptions for the Tigers this year. Blake Davis leads the team in pass breakups with six.
