Susan Kathleen Beilman, 65, of Topeka, passed away Friday, April 19, 2024 surrounded by her family in her home.

She was born August 29, 1958, in Scott City, KS, the daughter of Lester and Josephine (Younger) Richardson.

Susan was employed by Topeka West High School for 28 years, until retiring in 2020.

Mrs. Beilman was a member of the TARC and Special Olympics, of Topeka.

Susan married Joseph Beilman on June 5, 1976 in Hays. He survives.

Other survivors include daughters, Patricia (Daniel) Burgess, Danelle Beilman and Nichole Beilman, son Ralph (Sarah) Beilman, 5 grandchildren, sister, Deborah Diehl, brother, Leslie Richardson.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Richard Richardson.

Susan loved her family especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed collecting antiques and avidly volunteered her time for the Special Olympics.

Susan was cremated. A private family memorial ceremony will be held at a later date.
