Ellis County Landfill
Due to muddy conditions, the Ellis County Landfill is announcing that the Construction & Demolition pit, tree pile, rubble pile, and dirt pile at the landfill will be closed on Friday, May 29th, 2026. These materials will not be accepted in the transfer station for dumping.
Municipal waste will remain open and there is no dumping after 4:45 p.m.
We will re-evaluate the conditions the morning of May 30th, 2026.
