NW Kansas woman hospitalized after 2-vehicle crash

NORTON COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 1:30p.m. Saturday in Norton County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2003 Chrysler Town & Country driven by  Margaret J. Seemann, 71, Norton, was westbound on U.S. 36 at Sunset Drive in the number 2 lane.

The driver turned into lane 1 in front of a 2016 Chevy Suburban driven by Jeremy Kent Harding, 33, Norton. The SUV struck the van. The van left the roadway, entered the north ditch and struck a tree.

EMS transported Seemann to the hospital in Norton. Harding was not injured. Seeman was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
