PHILLIPSBURG – Norton shot a 331 and won the Mel Schremmer Invitational hosted by Philipsburg High School Tuesday at the Phillipsburg Golf Club. The host Panthers were eight shots back and finished second with Plainville claiming third with a 341. Ellis placed fourth (347) and TMP-Marian fifth (351).
Norton junior Eli Jones won the individual title with a 4-over-par 72. Austin Carroll of Ellis finished second with a 75 and TMP-Marian Heuer Brungardt tied for third with Plainville’s Jayden Morris with rounds of 77.
