After a long illness, Glen Lee Graham, age 81, went home to heaven on March 21, 2026.

Glen was born on July 15, 1944 in Elwood, Indiana to Ralph and Lillian (Campbell) Graham. Glen is survived by three children, Douglas Graham and wife Jennifer of Independence, KY, Laura Jansonius and husband Lonnie of Prairie View, KS, and Susan Smith and husband Steve of rural Ellis, KS; seven grandchildren: Todd (Rebecca) Smith, Joshua Smith, Makenzie Jansonius, Zachary Jansonius, Christopher (Megan) Wilson, Megan (Tyler) King, and Lillian Graham; two great-grandchildren Zoey King and Frankie Wilson. Glen is also survived by his sister-in-law Shirley Long of Wabash, Indiana, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Connie (Smith) Graham, his parents Ralph and Lillian Graham, and his brother James Graham.

Glen graduated from La Fontaine High School in 1962. After attending Purdue University for one year, he felt God’s calling and transferred to Ozark Bible College in Joplin, Missouri. He completed his Bachelor of Theology degree, graduating in 1968 as the class Salutatorian. During his time at Ozark, he was a teaching assistant and a Joplin city table tennis champion, competing in the US Open. On August 5, 1966 he married Connie Smith in Treaty, Indiana. After graduating from Ozark, they made their home in Joplin, Missouri during which time he worked for the United States Postal Service and continued graduate work at Ozark. In 1976 he began full-time ministry. He preached for 48 years, serving churches in Oklahoma, Tennessee, Kentucky, Kansas, Arkansas, and Missouri. In 2015 he came out of retirement to minister with the SONshine Christian Church in Smith Center, Kansas, retiring for the final time in December of 2024.

Glen was known not only for his outstanding preaching, but especially for his Bible knowledge and ability as a Sunday School teacher. He and Connie dedicated their lives to serving God and touched many lives in their many years of ministry together. Glen loved his family. In his early retirement years he enjoyed traveling with Connie, especially enjoying their trips to Branson. He was proud of his children and was a very involved and supportive father. He loved his grandchildren and was proud of all of their accomplishments. In his spare time he enjoyed watching basketball, listening to Gospel Quartet music, and was an avid collector of baseball cards, Case knives, and model cars. He also loved memorizing scripture, in his later years committing to memory one event from each chapter of all four Gospels. Glen’s influence will continue to be felt by many generations to come. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 27, 2026, in the Logan Christian Church, Logan, KS, with Pastors James Swanson and Ben Fagan officiating. Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the Prairie View Cemetery, Prairie View, KS.

Mr. Graham will lie in state this Wednesday and Thursday from noon until 8 p.m. in the Logan Funeral Home, Logan, KS.
