Former Logan, KS resident David P. Rundle of Wichita, KS, passed away Monday October 25, 2021, at the Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, KS at the age of 63.
He was born July 19, 1958, in Logan, KS the son of John “Jack” W. and Sylvia (Wood) Rundle.
Survivors include his brothers Tim and wife Noreen of Washington, KS, Michael of Lawrence, KS, Leland of Logan, KS, James and wife Cindy of McPherson, KS; sisters Shirley Mendoza of Phillipsburg, KS and Kathleen Brewster and husband Gary of Overland Park, KS; a sister-in-law Carolyn Rundle of Wichita, KS; and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 30, 2021, at the St. John’s Catholic Church, Logan, KS with Fr. John Schmeidler officiating. The Mass will be streamed live on the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel Facebook page. Interment will follow in the Pleasant View Cemetery, Logan, KS.
David will lie in state from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday and Noon until 8 p.m. Friday at the Logan Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. Friday evening at the Logan Funeral Home, followed with the family receiving friends for visitation from 7 p.m. until 8 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Holy Savior Catholic Church in Wichita or The Timbers of Wichita.
