On Sunday, the Defender Kansas Oz Chapter presented Trooper Budke with a ballistic vest that was made for his K-9 partner, Igor, Highway Patrol Trooper Tod said via his Facebook page.

They chose Igor after hearing about him getting hurt in the line of duty last winter in a crash. 

Thanks to everyone one involved, Trooper Budke felt very honored, Tooper Tod said.
