The Kansas Department of Health and Environment on Friday reported six new COVID-19 cases in Ellis County had been identified since Wednesday.

As of Friday morning, HaysMed reported 11 COVID inpatients, including two active and nine recovering cases.
Since reporting began, there have been 7,117 cases of COVID-19 identified in Ellis County, including 80 coronavirus-related deaths.
