Caroline A. Lietz, age 53, of Hays, Kansas passed away July 23, 2020 at Hays Medical Center. She was born December 12, 1966 in Hays to Leo and Annabelle (Schmidt) Lietz. Caroline (more affectionately known as Carrie) was full of love and contagious laughter. Her love for her family, especially her nieces and nephews, was only matched by her love for her animals (Samba and Noodle)
She is survived by four brothers, Jack Lietz of Las Vegas, Bill Lietz of Lawrence, Tom Lietz of Hays and Steve (Kim) Lietz of Las Vegas; nephews, Jordan (Sarah) Lietz and Justin (Rachel) Lietz; nieces, Faith Lochmann and Christin Baxter; great nieces, Hannah Baxter and Annabelle Lietz; great nephew, Oliver Lietz and a great-great niece, Indigo Dietze.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
