SCOTT COUNTY— For several months, law enforcement authorities in Scott City have been assisting the Oklahoma Bureau of Investigation on an investigation in Oklahoma. They have a suspect in custody.
On March 16, police assisted Special Agents from the Oklahoma Bureau of Investigation executing an arrest warrant. Officers too 22-year-old Kevin Adalberto Rodriguez-Ruiz, 22, of Scott City into custody at the Law Enforcement Center on an Oklahoma arrest warrant for alleged Rape and three counts of lewd or indecent acts to a child under the age of 16.
Rodriguez-Ruiz remains in the custody of the Scott County Jail awaiting extradition to Oklahoma.
