Four hospitalized after truck overturns on I-70

TREGO COUNTY —Four people were injured in an accident before 5a.m. Wednesday in Trego County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2020 International box truck driven by Quinlan Luster, 20, Orlando, Florida, was westbound on Interstate 70 eleven miles west of WaKeeney.

The truck exited the roadway to the right and entered the north ditch.

The driver overcorrected back onto the interstate where he overcorrected again and the truck overturned onto the drivers side and skidded to a rest in the north ditch.

EMS transported Luster and passengers David C. Crowell, 18; Rashid A Luster, 18, and Daniel Hicks, 18, all of Kansas City, Mo., to Trego County-Lemke Memorial Hospital.

The three passengers were not wearing seat belts, according to the KHP.
