DECATUR COUNTY—A Kansas teen was injured in an accident just after 7p.m. Wednesday in Decatur County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2000 Ford F150 driven by Wahlmeier, Joaquin L. Wahlmeier, 17, Clayton, was eastbound on Kansas Highway 9 eighteen miles west of U.S. Highway 283
The pickup left the roadway into the south ditch. The pickup reentered the roadway and the driver overcorrected. The pickup traveled into the south ditch again, struck a culvert and rolled.
EMS transported Wahlmeier to the Norton County Hospital. He was properly restrained, according to the KHP.
