WICHITA - The Hays High boys golf team finished eighth at Monday's 5A Boys State Golf Preview at the Tallgrass Country Club in Wichita. The Indians shot a 329 which was 17 shots behind first place St. James Academy.
Hays High's Caleb Thompson fired a 2-under-per 69 and was the top medalist, four shots better than Bishop Carroll’s Kaden Kievian and Maize South’s Joe Binger.
