Northwest Kansas bridges among KDOT approved June bids

TOPEKA - The Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) announced approved bids for state highway construction and maintenance projects. The letting took place June 15, 2022, in Topeka. Some of the bids may include multiple projects that have been bundled based on proximity and type of work.

Among the bids are: 

DISTRICT THREE-NORTHWEST

Norton ‑ 383‑69 KA‑2371‑02 ‑ K‑383, from the east U.S. 36/K‑383 junction northeast to the south edge of wearing surface of bridge #062 over Prairie Dog Creek, grading and surfacing, 5.6 miles, Venture Corporation, Great Bend, Kansas, $15,238,784.53.

Smith ‑ 92 C‑5072‑01 – Bridge over Cedar Creek located 2.5 miles north and 1.6 miles east of Claudell, bridge replacement, 0.2 mile, L & M Contractors Inc., Great Bend, Kansas, $529,128.00.
