Agra resident Fitzgerald Haskett passed away Thursday, January 6, 2022, at the Bryan Medical Center in Lincoln, NE at the age of 79.
He was born February 14, 1942, in Phillips County, KS the son of Cecil Earl and Rose Ellen (Allen) Haskett.
He was united in marriage to Jeanette K. Thomas on November 8, 1985, in Phillipsburg, KS. She preceded him in death on April 27, 2016.
Survivors include his sons Joe Haskett and Wade Haskett, both of Agra; daughter Andrea Abbott also of Agra; step son Kenton Abbott of Ellenwood, KS; a step daughter Regina Lutgen of McPherson, KS; three grandchildren; two brothers Larry “Pat” of Jewell, KS and Nicholas of Agra; and four sisters Nancy Dix of Agra, Judy Holloway of Oklahoma City, OK, Janice Patterson and Sally Thomas both of Phillipsburg.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, January 10, 2022, in the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg, with Pastor Scott Randall and JD Washington officiating. The services will be streamed live on the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel Facebook page. Burial will follow in the Haskett Cemetery, Phillips Co, KS.
Gerald will lie in state from noon until 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel. The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. until 8 p.m. Sunday evening for visitation.
Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the Hicks-Siegel American Legion Post No. 364, Naponee, NE.
