GARDEN CITY – The TMP-Marian boys golf team opened their season Monday at the Holcomb Invitational at the Buffalo Dunes Golf Course. The Monarchs shot a 365 and finished in fourth place, eight shots behind third-place Scott City and 18 shots behinds tournament champ Elkhart.
Sophomore Pake Dewey led the Monarchs with an 11-over-par 83 and tied for fifth place, six shots behind tournament champ Joey Dougherty of Elkhart. Junior Landon Rozean shot an 87 and tied for 11th.
