Russell resident Dennis L. Riggs passed away Wednesday, July 
22, 2020, at the Hays Medical Center, Hays, KS at the age of 70.

Dennis was born October 22, 1949, in Wichita the son of Lawrence and Helen (Osgood) Riggs.&nbsp;

He was united in marriage to Susan M. Scheopner on July 2, 1983, in Colby, KS.&nbsp; She preceded him in death on November 29, 1999.

Survivors include his two sons, Tim and wife Monica of Wichita and 
Alex and wife Erin of Russell; two brothers, Charles “Bo” of Hartford, 
CT and Doug of Bushton, KS; and 5 grandchildren, Tenley, Brecken and 
Blaise Riggs, Tobey Brockmann and Logan Riggs.

Cremation was planned.&nbsp; A memorial service will be held Tuesday, July
 28, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, 
Phillipsburg, with Father George Chalbhagam officiating.&nbsp; The funeral 
services will be streamed live on Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel FaceBook 
page.

Friends may sign the guestbook on Monday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the
 Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg.&nbsp; Online condolences may be
