SHERMAN COUNTY — One person was injured in an accident just after 10 a.m. Monday in Sherman County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported an unknown vehicle was southbound on Kansas 27 eight miles north of Goodland.
The vehicle struck the drivers side rear corner of a 2015 Chevy Trax driven by Robert C. Sharps, 47, Oakley, that was sitting on the the shoulder of the highway. After impact, the Chevy came to rest in the west ditch. The other vehicle continued south.
EMS transported Sharps to an area hospital for treatment of a minor injury.
