The Hays Middle School 8th grade A-team won the Middle School Western Athletic Conference title.
The Falcons defeated the No. 1 seed Horace Good MS out of Garden City 25-18. 25-21 in the championship match Oct. 10.
The Falcons finish their season 19-2.
The other HMS teams finished runner-up at the MSWAC Tournament.
The 8th grade B-team finished their season 15-4, the 7th grade A-team finished 16-5 and the 7th grade B-team was 11-7 on the season.
The Falcons were coached by Donna Ward, Jaycee Dale, Dave Ward and Amber Hildebrand.
