
Delven Lee Kraft, 89, passed away on August 8, 2025 at the Grisell Memorial Hospital in Ransom, Kansas. He was born on April 24, 1936 on the farm in Trego County, Kansas the son of Jacob and Eva (Eichman) Kraft.
Delven was a farmer and stockman. He married Vivian Hoover on June 2nd, 1956, in Ness City, Kansas.
Survivors include his wife, Vivian Kraft of Ransom; daughter, Renata Kraft of Hays; son, Lee Kraft of Ransom; daughter, Michele Nuttle of Utica; 4 grandchildren, Ryan Kraft, Codi Kraft, Dalton Nuttle, Dylan Nuttle; 5 great-grandchildren, Blake Nuttle, Logan Nuttle, Bodhi Kraft, Taegen Kraft, London Gutierrez; and sister, Helen Wagner of Ness City. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Herman, Reinhold, Paul, and Hubert; sisters Darlene Cody and Betty Birzer.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Ransom VFW, Saturday, September 13, 2025 at 5:30pm.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Ransom, KS VFW Post No. 7972, grandson’s nonprofit “Forgotten Stewardship”, or Donor's Choice.
