🏃‍♂️ HHS has three top-20 runners at Milford Lake

JUNCTION CITY – The Hays High boys finished fifth and the girls’ sixth at Saturday’s Bob Schmoekel Cross Country Invitational held at Milford Lake.

Taevian Maupin led the Indians boys with a third-place finish (16:47.50.

The HHS girls had one top 20 runner. That was Madelyn Wilkins who placed 19th with a time of 22:57.17. Logan Leiker placed 18th (17:58.66).

Junction City won both the boys’ and girls’ team titles. Salina Central’s Katelyn Rupe was the girls’ individual champ (17:04.72) and the Mustangs Liam Deniau-Young was the boys champ.(16:17.85).
