Keith M. Thompson, 76, Rush County, Kansas, passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2021.

Keith was born June 25, 1945, in Lincoln, Nebraska, the son of George
 E. and Frieda M. (Hackstadt) Thompson.&nbsp; He was a resident of Rush 
County, Kansas, for over 25 years, moving there from Great Bend, 
Kansas.&nbsp; He was a welder for KBK Industries, Rush Center, Kansas, before
 his retirement.

Keith was a United States Army veteran serving during the Korean Conflict.

He enjoyed assembling model cars, not always from a kit.&nbsp; Keith would
 hand craft his own cars, using ink pen springs as “shocks”, sewing 
thread as spark plug wires, and other common every day items.&nbsp; Keith was
 very artistic.&nbsp; He loved to paint, draw, and carve wood.&nbsp; He also 
enjoyed racing radio controlled boats and planes.&nbsp;

Survivors include several nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Gordon Thompson; and one sister, Rowena Keener.

The family has chosen cremation.&nbsp; There will be no services at this time.
