TOPEKA – Hays High is the No. 6 seed in the west half of the Class 5A bracket and will host Maize South Thursday at 7:00 pm at Lewis Field. The Indians closed out their regular season at 5-2. One of the losses was to the Mavericks (21-20) week seven in Maize.
The winner of Thursday game will advance to play the winner between No. 3 seed Maize (7-1) and Liberal (2-5).
