Hutchinson, KS—Great White and Quiet Riot perform their powerful arena rock hits for fans at the Kansas State Fair Thursday, Sept. 15. The fashion, the flair...the hair; there was nothing quite like 80s hair bands.
Since 1982, the Great White sound has captivated audiences worldwide, earning them a Grammy-nominated Best Hard Rock Performance hit, “Once Bitten, Twice Shy." They’ve sold more than 10 million albums worldwide, have six Top 100 Billboard hits, nine Top 200 Billboard albums, two platinum albums, and clocked the top of MTV four times.
Quiet Riot, formed in 1980, is famously described as “the first heavy metal band to top the pop charts.”

Their album Metal Health was the first heavy metal album in history to go to Number 1 on the Billboard Top 200 chart. Known for hits such as “Cum on Feel the Noize” and “Bang Your Head,” they've earned the title of “rock & roll phenomenon.”
“Talk about a great show, especially for classic heavy metal and rock fans,” said Bryan Schulz, Kansas State Fair General Manager. “These groups have been performing for decades, and they’re just not slowing down. The energy they bring after all these years is phenomenal!”
