LARNED – The TMP-Marian girls’ golf team won the Larned Invitational by 20 strokes over the host Indians Thursday at the Edwards Park Golf Course. Brynn Schoepf shot an 8-over-par 80 and edged Larned’s Ariana Meyer by one shot for the individual title.
Emma Wasinger placed fifth with a 90. Paige Keoningsman tied for eighth (104) and Hannah Flax finished 10th (106). Blakely Seib tied for 17th (125).
Plainville finished fourth. The Cardinals were led by Savannahg Slaubaugh who placed 12th (115) and Adelaide Rummel who was 13th (118). Lydia Widner and teammate Callie Brown both tied for 17th with a 125. Mackenzie Dixon shot a 145 and finished 25th, Natalie Garcia was 26th (150).
