Dr. Heather&nbsp;Robben, optometrist, has been practicing with Dr. Dan Schmidt since she graduated from optometry school in 2006.

Her first day of seeing patients in Hays was over 16 years ago.

During this time, she was also seeing patients in WaKeeney.

In November 2009, she purchased that practice from Dr. William Benkelman. In addition, she spent six years of patient care in Great Bend one day a week.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

In 2010, Robben married John Benkelman and they recently started their family. Since becoming a mother, Robben has decided she will only be seeing patients in WaKeeney. &nbsp;

The practice is planning for a new optometrist, Braiden Werth, to join the Hays and WaKeeney locations next year.&nbsp;

Robben said she looks forward to continuing care with her longtime patients and accepting new ones. &nbsp;
