Baseball America has named Dylan Dreiling the Texas Rangers Minor League Player of the Year. Jeff Wilson, Baseball America Rangers Correspondent writes,
Outfielder Dylan Dreiling needed a good season after scuffling at High-A Hickory in 2025, his first full season after being drafted out of Tennessee in the second round in 2024.
Dreiling shined at Double-A Frisco this season and showed that he could be a capable major league center fielder, a position that could be in flux in Texas heading into 2027.
“He has made some pretty impactful adjustments and learned a lot more about himself and how pitchers are going to attack him,” Rangers GM Ross Fenstermaker said. “He’s been able to tap more into his power and be more consistent.”
The Texas Rangers announced their 2026 end-of-year Minor League awards last week, naming infielder Rafe Perich the Tom Grieve Player of the Year. Perich played with Dreiling at Double-A Frisco.
