Bridge repair in Logan County part of KDOT-approved September bids

TOPEKA — The Kansas Department of Transportation announces approved bids for state highway construction and maintenance projects, including one in northwest Kansas.

The letting took place Sept. 20, 2023, in Topeka. Some of the bids may include multiple projects that have been bundled based on proximity and type of work.

Among the projects is:

In Logan County on Highway U.S. 83, the bridge over Smoky Hill River located 6.8 miles north of the Scott/Logan County line is set  for repair. The project work will be done by L & M Contractors Inc., Great Bend, at a cost of  $260,000.
