Robert Eugene Roths

Robert Eugene Roths, age 76, passed away at the Ness County Hospital, Ness City, Kansas on January 16, 2022.  He was born on May 15, 1945, in WaKeeney, Kansas.  He was raised the son of Frank and Sophie (Leis) Roths.

Bob worked in construction, drove trucks for Siebert Sand and worked in the oil industry for many years.  He was a member of the NRA, had a passion for collecting guns, loved riding motorcycles and collecting hotrods.

In 1962 Bob married Pat Denslow.  This marriage was blessed by the birth of two sons.  Bob and Pat were later divorced.  In May of 1985 he met Diane Dexter and they remained together for 37 years until his death.  She survives.

Other survivors include three sons, Monty Roths and his wife, Briana, of Wichita, Kenny Roths and his wife, Lucinda, of Salina, and Brandon Dexter and his wife, Elizabeth, of Emporia; one daughter, Ginger Braun and her husband, James Watterson, of Ness City; two sisters, Frankie Oliver of Ransom and Jane Boyd of Hilliard, Florida; three half-sisters, Berneice Wilcox, Cathy Smith, and Beth Terrell, one half-brother, Tim Randall; 17 grandchildren, Justin, Jeremy, Danielle, Isaac, Sam, Madison, Makenna, Meaghan, Lauren, Dakota, Mackenzie, Jaiden, Zachary, Elijah, Joshua, Caleb, and Owen and seven great grandchildren: Dakoda, Tage, Lucas, Liam, Malachi, Ellissa, and Iris.  Bob was preceded in death by six sisters, Evelyn, Olivia, Eileen, Deloris, Dolly, and Berniece and one half-brother, Rodney Randall.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 21, 2022, 10:30 a.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Ness City followed by burial in the St. Aloysuis Cemetery in Ransom.  Viewing will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, January 20, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. with the family present from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m.
