Roberta L. Nelson, 62, passed away September 20, 2021, at Hays Medical Center, Hays, KS.
She was born May 30, 1959, in Farmington, NM, the daughter of William and Doris Laverne Westbrooke. A longtime area resident, she was a homemaker.
She loved helping run the Snack Shack, playing bingo and potluck dinners at the High Rise Apartments in Great Bend and enjoyed doing crafts and reading.
Survivors include: mother, Doris Laverne Westbrooke, Farmington, NM; daughter, Michelle (Randy) Bethel, Larned; son, Michael Nelson, Larned; two brothers, Marion Dale, Harold Everette; sister, Linda Kay; three grandchildren, Rochelle Nelson, Nevada, Sheyanna Bethel and Kiara Bethel, both of Larned; six great grandchildren, Addison Barnett, Eliza Barnett, Chelsea Barnett, Brianna Bethel, Quilliam Bethel, Raven Bethel and one on the way and significant other, Michael Raymer, Great Bend.
She was preceded in death by her father, William Westbrooke; brother, Lorean Lee and two sisters, Wanda June and Alberta Ann.
Cremation has taken place and no service is planned.
