The Tigers enter on a four-game win streak, now 13-4 overall and 6-2 in the MIAA, while the Bronchos have won their last two games and sit at 10-8 overall and 4-5 in the MIAA.
Fort Hays State is coming off a 74-63 win over Rogers State on Thursday night. It was FHSU's first win in Claremore for men's basketball in five tries. Kyle Grill led the way for FHSU with 20 points, followed by Shaun Riley and Traejon Davis each with 13 and Kaleb Hammeke with 12. The win pushed the Tigers up into second place alone in the MIAA standings, only behind No. 1 nationally ranked Washburn, which remains undefeated for the season.
Central Oklahoma is coming off an 82-67 win over Nebraska-Kearney on Thursday night. The Bronchos have scored at least 70 points in all but one game this season, which resulted in a loss. They are 8-3 at home so far this season.
Fort Hays State won the last two meetings with Central Oklahoma, both in regular season play last year. FHSU won 67-60 in Edmond and then 66-62 in Hays. The Tigers and Bronchos have split their last eight meetings inside of Hamilton Field House.
