🏀 Area players honored on KBCA All-State teams

The Kansas Basketball Coaches Association has released their 2025-26 All-State selections, and several area players made the list.

Hays High had two boys and two girls honored. Jenna Schmeidler was named to the First Team in Class 5A and Zoey Winter the Second Team. Dawson Ruder was named Second Team and Izaac Fox honorable mention for the boys.

TMP-Marian’s Ty Schmeidler was a second team selection in Class 2A.

Victoria’s Nick Sander was named to the Second Team in Class 1A Division 2 and teammate Western Sherrer was an honorable mention selection.

Madison Morgan of LaCrosse was named to the second team in Class 1A Division 1.
