Hays Area Children’s Center
The Hays Area Children’s Center is pleased to announce that they are the recipient of an emergency grant from the Northwest Kansas Early Childhood Endowment.
The purpose of the grant is to provide short-term care for five local families who were temporarily displaced from their permanent childcare situation due to emergency circumstances. The funding covers two months of emergency, temporary care.
“We are happy to support local families and other childcare facilities in times of crisis,” said Hays Area Children’s Center Director, Becky Rogowski. “We are extremely appreciative to the Northwest Kansas Early Childhood Endowment and their funders for this emergency grant in a time of distress to our community.”
The Northwest Kansas Early Childhood Endowment is a permanently endowed fund made possible by the Dane G. Hansen Foundation, Patterson Family Foundation, State of Kansas/Kansas Children’s Cabinet and Trust Fund and the Greater Northwest Kansas Community Foundation.
