The Ellis County Health Department on Monday announced five new cases of COVID-19 have been identified in the county since Friday.
There are now 20 active cases of coronavirus in the county, with one active hospitalization, and 114 recovered cases. Since reporting began, there have been 135 total cases of COVID-19 in Ellis County, including one death.
