ELLIS – The Ellis Police Chief announced Thursday that a 14-year-old
was arrested and referred for charges in connection to a threat made this week against
the Ellis High School.

According to a press release from Ellis Police Chief Avery
Smith, Ellis High School staff quickly recognized Thursday’s threat was a hoax
and not an active threat.
