MAIZE, Kan. - Kansas State has landed the quarterback of their future. 4-star recruit Avery Johnson out of Maize committed to the Wildcats Tuesday.
Johnson chose the Wildcats over Washington and Oregon.
Johnson is rated the No. 1 player in Kansas and the 179th best player in the nation according to 247Sports and is the 12th rated quarterback in the country.
Johnson is the second high-profile Wichita are player to commit to Kansas State, joining Derby running back Dylan Edwards.
