DODGE CITY – Dylan LaRue tripled home the go-ahead run in the top of the 10th inning, lifting the Hays Larks to a 5-4 win over the Dodge City A’s Wednesday in Dodge City.
Jackson Babcock led off the 10th inning with his fourth hit of the game, and on the next pitch, LaRue drove him home, putting Hays up 5-4.
Hays’ Julio Ramos turned in four perfect innings of relief with six strikeouts for the win.
LaRue and Babcock both homered and scored twice. LaRue also drove in a pair of runs.
The Larks are 4-1-1 and 2-1 in the RMBL.
The Larks open a three-game home series against the Denver Cougars on Friday.
