The Ellis County Health Department on Monday announced five new cases of COVID-19 have been diagnosed in the county since Friday.
There are now 12 active cases of coronavirus, including two active hospitalizations, and 133 recovered cases.
Since the pandemic began, there have been 146 cases of COVID-19 in Ellis County, including one death.
