The Hays Area Children’s Center announced that Golden Plains Credit Union donated $5,000 to the Hays Area Children’s Center.
“We are honored to have been chosen as a recipient of this generous gift to continue our efforts to provide quality, consistent childcare to our community’s most precious resource, our children," said Jessamyn Staples, Hays Area Children’s Center board president. “Our goals are also to keep these services affordable for our families and another large component is to attract and maintain our incredible staff that give so much of their time and gifts to the children every single day.
“Our goals all go hand-in-hand with a substantial and ever-increasing cost. Golden Plains Credit Union’s partnership with Hays Area Children’s Center shows their commitment to our local community and the benefits of this gift will be impactful for our future as we strive to grow and continue to take on the challenges that are ever-present in the childcare industry.”
